NEW YORK, April 07, 2017 -- At a private memorial held at Warner Bros. Records in NY, hundreds of music industry VIPs paid tribute to 90s heartthrob singer and music industry executive Tommy Page, who passed away on March 4.
Josh Groban, Debbie Gibson, Grammy-winning songwriter Dianne Warren and many more, paid tribute to Tommy Page in a beautiful montage reel.
Page topped pop charts in 1990 with the No.1 Hit, “I’ll Be Your Everything,” and went on to become a successful music executive, spending 14 years as a radio promotion and A&R executive at Warner Bros. Records, the record label he was signed to by Seymour Stein as an artist at age 18. Page continued a successful career, becoming the publisher of Billboard Magazine, and working in top executive positions at Pandora, Cumulus Radio and The Village Voice.
During the touching memorial, numerous artists, music luminaries, former colleagues, friends and family gave remarks to celebrate Page, who was well revered by industry colleagues and music fans worldwide.
Page’s partner, Charlie Wright, spoke to the crowd expressing his gratitude for the support and messages from Tommy’s family, friends, colleagues and the thousands of fans from around the world.
“Tommy was an incredible artist and it made him feel good to entertain and sing for so many fans around the world. But most of all he was a loving, very dedicated partner and father of our three beautiful children,” said Wright.
The Page/Wright Children’s Trust was announced at the event and has been established for Page’s beloved three children. Memorial donations in honor of Tommy can be made through TommyPage.com.
