It would seem that “My Hero Academia” Chapter 220 is going to reveal quite the sad state of affairs for the so-called League of Villains if the raw scans of the manga are anything to go by. Following the defeat of All-For-One, the group has seemingly become directionless and broke. Then Gigantomachia appears to test the worth of Shigaraki as the leader and he might just fail.
As OtakuKart reports, it would appear that the League of Villains is in quite a tough spot when “My Hero Academia” Chapter 220 rolls around. They are out of money, so they will need to resort to stealing from other villains. This will then prompt discussions about how there doesn’t appear to be a plan. What’s worse is that the doctor responsible for the Nomu is nowhere to be found.
This is the state that Gigantomachia will find them in and he will not be happy. It will be revealed that he absolutely adores All-For-One, the original head of the league. He will be doubtful that Shigaraki is capable of taking on that mantle. As such, he will test the villains in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 220, which leads to the scene that readers saw in the last chapter.
As things stand, the situation with regards to the league appears to be deteriorating, but likely not for long. Something might just happen that will spur Shigaraki into action so that he can actually start putting a plan into place. If this should happen, it might just be a matter of time before he breaks his master out of jail. Before that, though, he will need to overcome the events in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 220.
For those wondering, “My Hero Academia” Chapter 220 will be dropping on March 18. The chapter will hold quite the significance to the manga’s main bad guys. This makes the manga worth the read.
