“My Hero Academia” season 4 is expected to continue with the next events in the Internship arc. Luckily, fans are no longer kept in the dark as the release window for the succeeding anime installment was recently confirmed.
As soon as the final scenes of season 3 ended, fans were greeted with the confirmation that “My Hero Academia” season 4 is “coming soon.” However, the more specific release window was not announced until this week.
Yonkou Productions surprised its Twitter followers after providing a list of popular anime series that will be released within the spring of 2019. The list begins with “My Hero Academia” season 4, along with the next seasons of “Attack on Titan,” “One Punch Man,” and “Kimetsu no Yaiba.”

The anime series’s third season ended in late September. With that, it will surely take a while before the exact premiere date for “My Hero Academia” season 4 is announced. However, the original release dates of the previous seasons might provide some clues.
Without major changes in the usual cycle of production of the series, “My Hero Academia” season 4 and “One Punch Man” season 2 might premiere in the same month. The latter has been confirmed to come out sometime in April 2019. There is no word yet if the fourth season will also have 25 episodes.
Now that the premiere date of “My Hero Academia” season 4 is partially settled, the next thing fans would like to know is the upcoming plot. There are comments that season 3 ended with a little bit of surprise. Some thought that the third season finale will cover only the Provisional Hero License Exam Arc.
However, the final episode covered a couple of chapters that belong to the next story called the Internship arc, including the much-awaited introduction of the Big 3 — Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado — to UA's class 1-A. The “My Hero Academia” season 4 opener will definitely pick up with the next events in the Internship arc after the meeting of the arc’s main antagonist, Overhaul, and the League of Villains.
