Dust and smoke will settle down when “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10’s premiere finally airs on Sept. 30. The previous season ended on a cliffhanger which saw the fate of four major characters in jeopardy.
Fans have been dreading that at least one of them is going to get killed in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 but a recent statement from one of the cast members confirms that at least two of them will make it out alive. Those two are Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).
Speaking with TV Insider, Ruah confirmed that Deeks and Kensi are going to get married in the next installment. The statement is in line with executive producer R. Scott Gemmill’s revelation that wedding bells are indeed to be expected in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10.
Fans of Deeks and Kensi were horrified that one of the two is going to get killed since the couple just called off their wedding prior to proceeding with their off-the-books mission. The reason behind the decision is that the two couldn’t see eye to eye on what they’re going to do once they tie the knot. Kensi wants to continue with her career with the division, while Deeks wanted out of it since it involves a lot of dangerous undertakings. So if, for instance, Deeks dies in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10, Kensi will have to live with the fact that she turned her back on someone who deeply cared for her.
Fortunately, that’s not going to happen since Ruah and Gemmill’s statements pretty much confirm the safety of the two characters in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10. Of course, there’s still another heartbreaking route that the writers could take. That route is killing off either Deeks or Kensi then having them wed with one of them inside a coffin. A ceremony such as this isn’t unheard of and has been done in real life.
It will be a twisted turn of events and audiences will undoubtedly be pissed or devastated or both if they go down this path. Of course, this is just speculation at this point. Hopefully, Deeks and Kensi survive their ordeal and spend their days happily together. A life that both of them truly deserve.
