“NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 16 will have its spotlight aimed at Hannah (Necar Zadegan) and the events that took place before she became part of the squad. It’s already been established that most of the previous work that the character did was dealing with international threats. Terrorists, to put briefly.
Now, those that she collided in the past will be haunting her in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 16. One particular individual holds a personal vendetta against the agent, Express reported.
Named Viktor Zelko (Joseph Gatt), the terrorist/arms dealer will be seeking to avenge his family in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 16. It’s been revealed that Hannah had once been involved with a mission in Yemen that tracked down and killed Zelko and his family. While there have been photos that Zelko died during the operation, the terrorist apparently managed to survive the hit.
As such, Zelko means to return the favor by going after Hannah’s loved ones. In “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 16, the team will be putting Hannah and her family under the radar while they hunt down Zelko’s whereabouts. It goes without saying that this upcoming release will be an exciting story to follow since it will be exploring Hannah’s backstory.
Showrunner Christopher Silber previously said that this installment will dive deeper into the lives of the series’ main characters. It already did this for Pride (Scott Bakula) extensively. With the agent nearly getting killed and having to witness his father’s death firsthand, he’s currently treading a spiritual path that would give him clarity and purpose. And this experience will play a vital role in the capture of Zelko in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 16.
Pride will also provide some emotional support for Hannah as he knows what it feels like when his loved ones are threatened. As for the release date of “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 16, CBS has slated it to drop on March 12.
