“NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 6 will feature someone who went viral back in August. The person in question is Geoffrey Owens, the actor who was photographed by an unnamed woman while he was bagging groceries at Trader Joe’s, CarterMatt reported.
When the news broke out, multiple publications picked up the story, spreading it like wildfire on social media and it ultimately made its way back to Owens himself. But the actor said he already know it was going to spread and prepared himself for the worse. Unfortunate as the circumstances were, it did land the actor a guest appearance in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 6.
An outpouring of support was offered to Owens, with several Hollywood stars offering him a job in their respective projects. Now, the actor will be playing a military doctor who has a close relation with Pride (Scott Bakula). In “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 6, Pride will be seeking help from Commander Atkins (Geoffrey Owens) to deal with the trauma he incurred during his failed assassination in the previous installment.
It’s expected that Owens will bring a lot to the character he’s playing as he has recently gone through an ordeal in his life. And with Atkins imparting advice to Pride, his portrayal will be key in how the SAC will handle things moving forward. Meanwhile, the team will be chasing down a murderer who’s been harvesting organs from several victims in “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 6.
There will certainly be a lot to take in this upcoming episode, especially since some fans are still digesting what occurred during the 100th episode. What’s more, Pride will not be the only one going through some character development as the rest of the team will each have their own slices of introspection. “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 5 Episode 6 is slated to air on Oct. 30 and fans can’t wait for the performance of Owen and how he’ll flesh out Atkins on screen.
