Many fans are thrilled for the Aussie spin-off of the popular American police procedural series. Initially, it was announced that the show would air Mondays in the United States, but CBS later announced that it would air on Tuesdays instead, starting November 14. Here is everything we know so far about the upcoming “NCIS: Sydney” Season 1 Episode 1.
‘NCIS: Sydney’ Season 1 Episode 1 Release Date
The highly-anticipated “NCIS: Sydney” Season 1 Episode 1 will premiere on Tuesday, November 14, at 8 pm on CBS, per Collider. All episodes will also be available to stream live and on-demand for Paramount+ and Showtime subscribers, with Paramount+ Essential subscribers getting to access the episode the day after it airs.
In Australia, “NCIS: Sydney” Season 1 Episode 1 will be available on Friday, November 10, on Paramount+, with further international release dates to be confirmed. The schedule changes came after the show was officially moved to CBS, with the show initially set to premiere exclusively on Paramount+.
"NCIS is one of the most popular series in the world and we're thrilled to expand this franchise with a uniquely Australian twist. Featuring the stunning backdrop of Australia, the new series will incorporate the high-stakes intrigue, humour and camaraderie that have kept fans captivated by the NCIS teams for over two decades,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said in a statement following the show’s CBS announcement.
‘NCIS: Sydney’ Season 1 Episode 1 Spoilers
DC’s “Legend of Tomorrow” actress Olivia Swann and “Home and Away” star Todd Lasance will lead the cast of the upcoming new series spin-off as NCIS special agent Michelle Mackey and sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey, respectively. Other cast members include William McInnes, Tuuli Narkle, Sean Sagar and “Neighbours” star Mavournee Hazel.

“The death of an American seaman on a U.S. nuclear submarine during an AUKUS ceremony on Sydney Harbour is investigated in a joint effort between America’s NCIS agents afloat and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), on the series premiere of the CBS Original series NCIS: SYDNEY, Tuesday, Nov. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.”
