Even though drug lord Pablo Escobar is one of the most famous figures in the illegal substance industry, there are plenty more where he came from. As such, it’s no surprise that “Narcos” Season 4 has plenty to work with as the show goes to Mexico. “Narcos: Mexico” will cover the Guadalajara drug cartel, which is often considered one of the nastiest of its kind.
As the latest trailer for “Narcos” Season 4 shows, the series is going to a new country and dealing with a new drug cartel. The premiere date for the new season has also been revealed and based on the comments flooding the YouTube page; fans simply can’t wait to binge-watch the addictive show.
With regards to the actual plot of “Narcos” Season 4, the new season will feature a new DEA lead and a new drug boss in Michael Peña (Kiki Camarena) and Diego Luna (Felix Gallardo), respectively. As expected, this is going to be a bloody season, with the characters being introduced in rather gruesome fashions. Much of the story will also revolve around the origins and circulation of Blow coming out of Mexico.
For those who may not know him, Felix Gallardo was an infamous drug kingpin in the 1980s, responsible for the distribution of Blow all through Mexico, Otaku Art reports. He was able to create an entirely new system of manufacturing and distribution, which the DEA had a nightmare of time unraveling. As viewers can imagine, this makes the job of Kiki Camarena in “Narcos” Season 4 that much more difficult to do.
“Narcos” Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 16. Fans of the drug cat and mouse series will want to keep that date in mind, especially if they don’t want to be spoiled by those who might get to see it first.
