Netflix is set to release three Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game titles this month. The streaming service provider's video gaming unit will drop the trilogy of the popular game on Dec. 14.
Netflix Games announced some excellent news this week, which triggered extreme excitement from fans. The company said it will roll out "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition," which will also be available on Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.
GTA Games to Watch Out For on Netflix
As per CBS News, Netflix Games will launch the remastered trilogy, the version that has been upgraded for mobile gameplay. The three titles included in the pack are "Grand Theft Auto III," "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."
The three games are considered the most iconic titles in the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. The GTA III is set in the fictional world called Liberty City, where the race started. On the other hand, the Vice City and San Andreas are retro editions as they bring players back into the 1980s and 1990s, respectively, Lancashire Post reported.
Who Can Access the Games on Netflix
These GTA games will be accessible to all Netflix subscribers. One benefit for subscribers is that the games will have no ads or in-app purchases. There will be no extra fees to pay as well to enjoy the game.
As Netflix Games is expecting a large number of gamers, it said that subscribers can already pre-register to download the GTA games when they are released. In any case, the latest version of the trilogy game pack was released in 2021, and these were further enhanced to have better graphics.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Games, the developer of the Grand Theft Auto games, is also set to drop the trailer for the long-awaited sixth GTA title. The company said it will unveil the clip in early December.
