Leave it to Ryan Murphy to get you more excited about his projects.
Take for instance his latest teaser for his upcoming “American Horror Story” Season 7. Although the premiere is still months away from its premiere, the new clue is more aligned (and less scary) with the show’s Election theme, Uproxx noted. The “red, white, and blue” clue Murphy tweeted was the back of a person’s head, with the hair dyed in garish blue. The person also appears to be wearing a white shirt, albeit with dark stains on it.
Popculture.com believes that the owner of the head with the bad dye job could be that of actor Evan Peters, who has been a series regular with Murphy’s horror anthology series. Peters is also confirmed to appear in the series, and has the same length of hair as the person in the tweet. Moreover, the site believes the clue could also mean that the character is mostly liberal when it comes to political views, much like how Democrats are associated with the color blue in real life.
The clue is a bit more tamer than the previous one shared by Murphy weeks earlier. The clue was of a sketch of a scary looking dog-elephant hybrid with a creepy, toothy grin. With the two clues, Bustle assumes:
“The first glimpse of the forthcoming season is all things upsetting and freaky. The second glimpse, however, is not freaky. Sure, it’s mysterious and exciting, but it won’t make you want to sprint for the hills. Er, unless you’re scared of hair. And if that’s the case, here’s your warning: There’s hair in the photo below [pertaining to the second clue].”
