New Balance will roll out its KAWHI 2 “Ocean Blue” colorway, which channels the Clippers guard Kawhi Leonard’s “go with the flow” mentality that he displays both on and off the hardwood, on May 13.
The different white accents depict the speed, grace, and grandeur of tall ships and sailing vessels, while an oceanic blue hue leads its visual composition and is present throughout the side panels to represent his calm poised personality.
The uppers have "Dynomite" orange embellishments reminiscent of life rings, as well as boat-inspired motifs on the tongues, to further portray the nautical theme.
The new shoe will retail for $160 at select shops.
