Magnolia Bakery, a famous bakery chain based in New York City, announced its newest dessert creations. The brand said it will be baking a cannabis-infused version of its popular products, such as its iconic banana pudding.
Magnolia Bakery said that the new items will be available for a limited time only. This will mark the company’s venture into the cannabis industry, as per CNN Business.
THC-Infused Edibles in the House
The dessert specialist is converting its baked creations into treats with cannabis, and these will be the brand’s first-ever products with THC, which is the main active component in marijuana.
Some of the limited-edition products with cannabis also include chocolate bars and red velvet cakes. The bakery said it made these items to “celebrate the brand’s most iconic, fan-favorite flavors in a new light.”
Baked Products to be Offered in Stores
Magnolia Bakery will sell the “Swirled Famous Banana Pudding” bar with cannabis. This will be the usual creamy vanilla pudding with freeze-dried bananas and crunchy vanilla cookies. It will come in a 10-piece bar package, and each one contains 10mg of THC.
The “Red Velvet Piece Ahhh Cake” comes in cream cheese and chocolate flavors. It is a moist cake bar that will also be sold in a package of 10-piece bars, with each piece containing 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD. Both bars have the tetrahydrocannabinol ingredient that produces the “high.”
“With their (Green Thumb Industries) national reach and proven track record of consistent, quality products, incredibles is a perfect partner as Magnolia Bakery expands into the realm of cannabis edibles,” Magnolia Bakery’s vice president of PR and partnerships, Sara Gramling, said in a press release. “Magnolia Bakery is dedicated to crafting delicious desserts for visitors of all tastes and preferences and can now share our signature flavors with cannabis consumers in three markets. We hope that fans enjoy this all-new way to get baked with Magnolia Bakery.”
“There are few bakeries as recognized as Magnolia Bakery, with their world-renowned treats that customers flock to,” Green Thum’s SVP of revenue, Dominic O’Brien, also said. “And in cannabis, there is nothing like Incredibles, the number one best-selling chocolate edibles brand across all our existing markets.”
