Nichols Chiropractic Announces Addition of New Women's Health Chiropractor

MANHATTAN, Kan., July 21, 2017 -- Nichols Chiropractic just announced the upcoming arrival of an additional chiropractor at its clinic. Dr. Valerie has extensive training in the treatment of musculoskeletal, joint, and nerve conditions. She has emphasized women's health in her career, giving her an advanced understanding of the female frame. This understanding is used to carefully treat female patients of all ages. Dr. Valerie will be joining the team on July 1, 2017.

Nichols Chiropractic, home to several talented chiropractors, is expanding once again. This will not only allow more patients to be seen, but also bring another focus to the practice. With the addition of Dr. Valerie, the chiropractic center will be able to address needs that are specific to its female patients.

"Women are uniquely different in terms of their musculoskeletal structures. Their wider hips, different muscle-to-fat ratios, and other factors make it so that a one-size-fits-all approach is not the best. Therefore, we believe that it is important to have a chiropractor who has put extra study into the health of women and girls as it relates to chiropractic treatment. Dr. Valerie is the person we chose to meet this need," said Dr. Jarrod Nichols, DC, of Nichols Chiropractic.

Dr. Valerie obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University, a college that is renowned in the chiropractic field. She then gained additional experience with a focus on women's chiropractic issues. Her preferred methods of treatment include full body adjustments and soft tissue techniques. Dr. Valerie treats women and girls ranging from puberty to post-menopause and offers gentle prenatal chiropractic treatments as well.

In her spare time, Dr. Valerie enjoys relaxing activities like yoga and dance, socializing with friends and family, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
