Nike SB Unveils 2024 Paris Olympics-Inspired ‘Safari’ Collection Featuring Exclusive Ishod 2 and Nyjah 3 Models
Featuring models such as the SB Dunk Low, Janoski, Blazer Mid, and the all-new Problem Solver 8, Nike SB's fall catalog is not just a collection of shoes but a significant part of the 2024 Paris Olympics. According to Sneaker News, these models, heavily influenced by the event, are set to be released in a matching “Safari” makeup, creating a sense of connection and anticipation among fans.
Additional “Olympic Safari” footwear, a rare and exclusive collection, is currently en route to Paris. While these pairs are unlikely to be publicly released, their exclusivity is expected to meet consumer demand. Promo samples of the Nike SB Ishod 2 and Nyjah 3, two signature shoes from the sub-brand's prominent riders, have been observed in various “Safari” colorways consistent with the overarching collection, adding to their allure.
Nyjah Huston, a rider for Team USA, has two Nyjah 3 "Safari" alternatives. He will compete in the men's street competition in a few days. The first shoe has a brown forefoot cladding and a grey ostrich print heel, while the second has a grey forefoot and a black/white heel pattern. Even though Ishod Wair will not compete this year, other riders can select from two Ishod 2 options, consistent with the distinctions observed in Nyjah's pairs.
As previously stated, the Nyjah 3 and Ishod 2 "Olympic Safari" colorways will not be publicly issued. However, they will be displayed by Nike SB team riders at the Paris Games.
Sabrina Ionescu's Nike Sabrina 2 in ‘Metallic Gold’ Honors Olympic Dreams with Exclusive Release
Although the WNBA All-Star weekend presented another opportunity for Sabrina Ionescu, the sensation of the New York Liberty, to reveal her Nike Sabrina 2 signature, the WNBA will have to wait for now. Ionescu's primary objective is to secure a gold medal at the 2021 Olympics, as she could not compete due to an injury. She will then resume her pursuit of a championship. The most recent colorway of her signature shoe, which includes "Metallic Gold" embellishments, indicates this objective.
This colorway is anticipated to be exclusively available for Grade School students now. Nevertheless, the shoe's design emanates a distinguished ambiance. The mudguard/eye stay panel, tongue, and sizable heel sections are all covered in jet black, which creates depth through its unconventional color-blocking scheme.
The FlyWire anchoring technology, evocative of the Nike Kobe 5, is showcased in sheer white synthetic mesh quarter panels. The gold accents on the tongue tag and the medial and lateral Swooshes add a dash of pedigree to the overall appearance.
The highly anticipated Nike Sabrina 2 “Metallic Gold” is expected to be distributed in the upcoming weeks. The retail price will be $100 if the previous pricing is accurate. The excitement for this release is palpable, and fans eagerly await the opportunity to own this unique piece.
