Nintendo Switch Users Claim Consoles Are “Bending” After Major Use

Heavy users of the new Nintendo Switch gaming console are now complaining that their gadgets are warping.

BGR said there have been many complaints written on Reddit, blaming the warping over the console’s known temperature issues. One Reddit user who goes by the name _NSR even showed photos of the console that was left in docked mode, and when it was removed. The system also appeared to be bended.

The user explained, “It does get very hot, considering how small the system is and it is outputting “Breath of the Wild” for long periods of time on a big screen, it may be too much for it to handle. I'm wondering if it being docked is the problem though, most of my time has been on the dock, and it has to work harder to output to a larger screen. Luckily it hasn't affected the way that it plays, the lack of disc drive is definitely a good thing here.”

Another commenter also shared the experience of being able to get in touch with Nintendo regarding the deformity, of which the latter immediately offering to repair the unit or transfer all data from the old console to a new one to ship back. However, it was noted that if this is the case, then the user will still expect the same issue after heavy use.

Endgadget said this was not the first issue that has risen from Switch usage. Early adopters experienced some significant problems with the dock and the Switch’s controllers. Derrick Rossignol for the tech site said even with the guarantee of replacement, it only simply means that the quality of the console spells a very bad experience for users who play a lot with the Switch.
