There are many games slated to be released on Nintendo Switch in the coming months. But there is no doubt that avid Nintendo fans are mostly looking forward to the launch of a new “Pokémon” game as well as the next installment of the “Animal Crossing” series for the hybrid portable console.
Nintendo Switch: New ‘Pokémon’ and ‘Animal Crossing’ installments headline upcoming games in 2020
Nintendo and “Pokémon” followers have another game to look forward to this year as the release of “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX” has been confirmed. It will also fall under the RPG genre but, as the title suggests, offers heavy dungeon-inspired themes in its gameplay.
The basic concept is for players to complete missions in one dungeon to another while also forming a rescue team by recruiting Pokémon. Dungeons will feature turn-based battles where recruited Pokémon will prove useful. “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX” will be released on Mar. 6 and is now available for $59.99.
“Animal Crossing: New Horizons” is possibly one of the most anticipated games to arrive on Nintendo Switch this year. It will serve as a continuation of the “Animal Crossing” series exclusive on this console and will be out on Mar. 20. In this installment, players will play the role of someone who has relocated to a deserted location. The game is promised to maintain the staple life-simulation gameplay, activities through its crafting system, and interactions with NPCs.
Nintendo Switch games: 3 other highly awaited titles this year
“The Outer Worlds” is one of the upcoming Nintendo Switch games making headlines recently. The action RPG was first released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One last year. It is played in the first-person perspective where video game fans can customize their characters and approach missions in an open-ended fashion. This is one of those games where players’ decisions in every dialogue alter the course of the game. It is confirmed to be released on Switch on Mar. 6, too.
The Board would like to share with you this important announcement: #TheOuterWorlds is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 6! Now you will be able to complete your assigned tasks anywhere you go. ????✨

Other upcoming Nintendo Switch games are also from popular franchises. “Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition” is also being widely discussed now that Capcom confirmed the Switch port, arriving on Feb. 20, will feature a Weapons Switching system. This will allow players to switch weapons even when in the middle of hack-and-slash missions and will work on everything that is in the arsenal.
Also arriving on Nintendo Switch next month is the “Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.” It will cost $29.99 and will ship with a total of six classic “Mega Man” games, including four installments of the “Mega Man Zero” series along with “Mega Man ZX” and “ZX Advent” on Feb. 25.
