The Nokia 7.1 has finally been unveiled and it has got the best bang for the buck in the smartphone market.
The Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch Full HD (2280 x 1080p) display with a 19:9 screen ratio and the front of the phone is adorned with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer. The smartphone also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, an ergonomic rear fingerprint sensor, 3 or 4 GB RAM, 32 or 64 GB of interior storage space with a microSD expansion up to 400 GB, and an integrated 3060 mAh battery that can last up to 16 hours.
Aside from a fingerprint sensor, the phone also has an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer (G-sensor), an E-compass, and a Gyroscope.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 7.1 has an 8 MP front camera, and while it may not have the fancy camera features of high-end smartphones in today’s market, it more than makes up for it with a dual rear camera setup (12 MP and 5 MP) featuring Zeiss optics technology.
“Nokia 7.1 is all about capturing photos that look so good, you just have to share them. The dual rear cameras with ZEISS optics deliver stunning shots, while the AI technology lets you add an artistic touch to every photo with 3D personas, masks and filters,” the description on the official Nokia 7.1 product page reads.
“Take striking, true-to-life HDR photos with Nokia 7.1. You can capture crisper and sharper images with increased luminosity, a wider range of colors and more detail in both bright and dark areas – photos that get noticed when you share them.”
The Nokia 7.1 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, although an update to Android 9.0 Pie is expected at some point in the future. The phone is now available for pre-order, and it will start shipping on Oct. 28 in the U.S. and Oct. 17 in the U.K.
