ESPOO, Finland, July 29, 2016 -- Nokia announced today that Vivek Badrinath has informed that he will step down from the Nokia Board of Directors effective immediately due to his appointment as Chief Executive for Vodafone's Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific region. Following the announcement, Nokia's Board of Directors will consist of the following eight (8) members for a term ending at the close of the Annual General Meeting in 2017: Risto Siilasmaa (Chairman), Olivier Piou (Vice Chairman), Bruce Brown, Louis R. Hughes, Jean C. Monty, Elizabeth Nelson, Carla Smits-Nusteling and Kari Stadigh.
