“One Piece” Chapter 928 will be revealing more about Orochi, the current Shogun of Wano Country and a stout ally of Kaido. In the previous chapter, fans saw the silhouette form of the shogun, which is a multi-headed dragon-like creature.
At this point, it’s unclear how Orochi got this form – whether he attained it through the consumption of a Devil Fruit or other means altogether. The conflict of Wano country is being set-up by Oda at the moment and a brief skirmish has already been featured in the previous chapter. In an attempt to extort money from Sanji and his soba shop, Orochi’s lackeys tried threatening the skilled chef only to get their hides beaten for their trouble. In “One Piece” Chapter 928, Orochi will be sending assassins after the Straw-hat crew and it would be interesting to see how powerful these killers are.
Orochi won’t be personally involving himself with the conflict as his Shogun’s banquet is about to start. In time, however, the villain will realize how much trouble the Straw-hats are going to be and he’ll undoubtedly get his hands dirty at some point. Fans are curious how powerful Orochi is given that he’s been named after the legendary Japanese dragon, Yamato no Orochi. But what fans really want to see in “One Piece” Chapter 928 is a potential set-up that would have Robin fight someone else.
Audiences have been yearning for the character to get into an altercation with an antagonist given that she hasn’t fought someone in a very long time. Right now, it’s being speculated that she’s going to be kidnapped at some point during the banquet or maybe even the subsequent events that will follow. But given that one of Robin’s core abilities is her talent for escape, fans aren’t too worried about her safety.
As for when “One Piece” Chapter 928 will return, the manga will be taking a Christmas and New Year break. As such, the next chapter will be released on Jan. 4, 2019. After that, another break will occur and “One Piece” Chapter 929 will drop on Jan. 18, 2019.
