When it comes to the mysteries surrounding the Wano arc, there should be no room for surprises at this point what with the author throwing one twist after another at readers. In “One Piece” Chapter 946, though, events might just be taken up a notch with the revelation that the previous ruler is actually alive. There is no guarantee that this will be the case, but some predictions are painting that picture.
The previous chapter saw Shutenmaru asking Kinemon and the others to follow him because he needed to show them something. Unfortunately, the release for “One Piece” Chapter 946 will be delayed for a week, GameNGuides reports, so fans can only enjoy the story after a few more days of waiting. As to what is waiting for them in the upcoming segment, it could be the reason why Shutenmaru became a broken man.
Now, it would be easy to assume that the former retainer of Oden would have become the way he is now due to the death of his former lord. However, the only thing that could be worse than a dead master is one that is nearly dead but is not there yet. This could be the revelation in “One Piece” Chapter 946.
Considering just how many times the author has tricked readers into making assumptions about the plot, story, and characters in the manga, this would not be such a leap. In fact, it could be presented that Oden was simply injured severely during Orochi’s betrayal. This would certainly make for quite the surprise in “One Piece” Chapter 946.
If this ever does end up becoming true, it would be an even more heartbreaking development for his children. Both Momonosuke and Hiyori would have to contend with the fact that their father might be live, but he would have been better off dead. Fans will learn soon enough if this is the case when “One Piece” Chapter 946 comes out on June 24.
