To say that the Straw Hats are in a truly desperate situation in the previous “One Piece” episode would be an understatement. With all escape routes blocked via a horizontal perspective, Luffy and his friends will have no choice but to either go up or down. Fortunately, Big Mom is still distracted by Sanji’s cake. This will give them a golden opportunity for escape in “One Piece” Episode 876.
As TheAnimeScrolls reports, “One Piece” Episode 876 will show that the Thousand Sunny was not actually destroyed, as the previous episode might have alluded to. Instead, the ship with the Straw Hats in it will be pulled down into the depths by the giant Wadatsumi. This will not fool Big Mom’s pirates for long, but at least they won’t have the pirate emperor to make everything worse.
The enormous force of nature is still busy gorging herself with the cake that she spent so many episodes chasing after. One could almost call it a reward for her efforts that eventually made her shrivel up. The form made her look even more menacing if that were possible. This is the chance that the Straw Hats will take to finally make a getaway in “One Piece” Episode 876.
Even with this new escape route, though, “One Piece” Episode 876 will see the Sweets pirates realizing the situation and resume pursuit. As a result, Jinbei will need to stay back and buy his friends enough time to escape. Before they part, the fish person and the Straw Hats will promise each other that they will meet in Wano. Whether or not this is going to happen will have to be seen.
“One Piece” Episode 876 will be hitting the small screen and online streaming services for western audiences on March 17. Viewers will not want to miss this desperate bid for freedom.
