“One Piece” chapter 962 is still delayed so fans have to wait another week to see what happens next after Kozuki Oden showed up at the Flower Capital. With his sudden emergence, flashbacks are to be expected to show his backstory.
A recap of what transpired in chapter 961
In the previous chapter of “One Piece,” the Flower Capital was in chaos as the Mountain God violently look for its missing offspring. This attacker is actually a giant boar that resides in the forests of Wano Country and it came down to tear down houses as it searches. Kin'emon attempted to stop it but it was the newcomer Oden who slain it by slicing it in half.
Despite his heroic deed, Oden was condemned for the attack of the Mountain God because he was mistakenly accused of stealing the boar’s child that caused it to wreak havoc in the city. As a result, he was exiled from the land but he did not find this upsetting, instead, he left without regrets and headed to Hakumai. He also gained followers after his heroic act at the Flower Capital and Kin'emon and Denjiro joined him in his journey.
What will happen next in chapter 962?
“One Piece” chapter 962 will pick up from the time Oden was exiled and he began his travel to see his uncle Shimotsuki Yasuie in Hakumai. Upon his arrival, he noticed a familiar face and Yasuie introduced him to Orochi, one of his new servants. Also, he will unexpectedly see Kanjuro and Raizo, members of the Red Scabbards.
Who is Orochi?
In the upcoming chapter, it will be revealed that he is none other than the Kurozumi Orochi who is currently a shogun of Wano. This big reveal in “One Piece” chapter 962 will create rumors and speculations because there will be huge interests in how he was able to secure a high post in the country when he was just a lowly errand boy. Thus, this episode will delve more on Ochi’s background to get some answers.
Release date
“One Piece” chapter 962 is set to arrive on Nov. 17, as per OtakuKart. The good thing is, even if this is delayed, the raw scans that will come out earlier on Nov. 15 will provide glimpses of what to expect.
