It would be a long wait for “One Piece” Chapter 967 as Eiichiro Oda and his team will be on a well-deserved one-week breather. In the meantime, here are the most exciting speculations floating around, which include some island-hopping for the Roger Pirates and meeting one powerful Yonko.
“One Piece” chapter 967 is likely to continue with Roger’s obsession with finding the last island. With only one year left to live, he’ll be giving it his best shot to make sure the job gets done before his time is up.
However, spoilers from Otakukart suggest that the upcoming chapter will feature Oden and Roger’s journey in more detail. Thus, fans can expect to learn more about how the two managed to piece together the various clues and hints along the way.
The Roger Pirates will most like go to Fishman Island in “One Piece” chapter 967. While on the island, they’ll likely learn the secret of Poseidon, which was already hinted at in the previous installment of the manga series.
They’ll also likely meet Joy Boy in the upcoming chapter. Not much is known about the character except that he was a man from the surface who played an important role in Fish-Man Island’s past.
After dropping by Fishman Island, the Roger Pirates will probably head to Zou Island. “One Piece,” chapter 967 speculations say that Inuarashi and Nekomamushi will be dropped off at this point.
Roger might even gain access to a Road Poneglyph on the island. With Oden’s help, they’ll likely uncover another clue to where their next destination would be.
The hint will likely bring them to Whole Cake Island, which may already be covered in “One Piece” chapter 967. Since all four Road Poneglyphs are needed to deduce Laugh Tale Island’s location, they’ll likely approach Big Mom for the Road Poneglyph in her possession.
But whether or not Big Mom would willingly hand over the poneglyph is still up for debate. Some are even suggesting that they'll just grab it up and run.
Whether all of these predictions will come to pass in “One Piece” chapter 967 will only be confirmed when the upcoming installment releases. Unfortunately, no new chapter will be released this coming Sunday, December 29, 2019.
The reason given is that the Weekly Shounen Jump magazine is currently on a break. This means that the next chapter will be out by January 5, 2020.
