The “One Piece” chapter 981 release date would officially arrive in a couple of days. However, spoilers about the upcoming manga installment are already online revealing the arrival of a powerful ally of Luffy.
“One Piece” chapter 981 spoilers reveal why Kid hates Apoo. Apparently, the two had an alliance but it turns out that the Apoo was Kaido’s informant.
Apoo justifies his decision to side with Kaido by saying that they had no chance of taking him down. “You really thought as teaming up with let you take down even one of the emperors?” he told Kid.
Meanwhile, Queen issues another order to his subordinates. Instead of trying to capture the intruders, they are ordered to kill them.
But just as they were about to attack, one of the Numbers of Onigashima enters the fray and attacks some of Kaido’s subordinates. In the ensuing chaos, Luffy, Zoro, and Kid make their escape.
The Flying Six watch the events unfold and they are unsure if they should get involved. Who’s Who convinces the rest that it’s not worth the effort and that their time would be best spent looking for clues about Kaido’s son Yamato.
Kinemon decides to split his force into two groups. One group will breach the keep from the dome of the skull while the other group will approach in from the other side, resulting pincer attack.
As Kinemon’s team passes by Black Maria’s residence, Chopper, who was riding inside a tank, sees Big Mom in the doorway. The Yonko likewise sees Chopper but it’s still unclear if she recognizes the latter.
Big Mom is waiting for the arrival of her forces, who were navigating their way up the waterfalls to get to Wano country. But before they could reach the top, Marco the Phoenix bars their path.
“I heard talk of an alliance with Big Mom Pirates,” he said. “Looks like it was true. Time for you to drop out of here.”
Marco attacked the boat, which caused it to fall. “The next time you make it up here, this age of ours might look a little different.”
