A photo claiming to show the leaked design of OnePlus 7 is making rounds online. If it represents a real prototype, an upcoming smartphone with an all-screen design and a pop-up camera might be in the pipeline.
The image was first posted on Slashleaks by user ECLYNOH. They claim the photo is showing a live image of the OnePlus 7. This supposedly means the device in the picture is an actual, working prototype of the unreleased smartphone. It does sport the default wallpaper image on the latest OnePlus smartphones.
It does not show all sides of the smartphone but the front alone indicates several design changes and improvements. The rumored OnePlus 7 visibly has much thinner bezels that it is close to an all-screen design. A front camera is also nowhere to be seen in the device, which can only mean one thing. The next flagship smartphone from OnePlus could borrow some tricks from Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X. It could feature a motorized pop-up selfie camera.
It is only fair to ask whether this leaked image is accurate or not. But, at this point, OnePlus is unlikely going to confirm or deny this information. Other followers of Slashleaks seem to think the photo with the rumored OnePlus 7 is not accurate while Wccftech also suggested it is “sketchy.” But the contributor who posted it actually had several pieces of leaked information uploaded before that are now tagged “confirmed” and gained up to 100 percent trust rating from other visitors of the site.
OnePlus has a fairly consistent schedule of flagship smartphone release dates over the years. So there is a big chance that OnePlus 7 will be unveiled between May or June. This also means that some details about the upcoming smartphone are not yet final at this point. So the leaked image mentioned above could be showing a real prototype but it does not necessarily mean the final product will look exactly like it.
