The Oppo A3s is rumored to debut soon, and it appears to be a follow-up to the A3, which was introduced in April. The release of the new smartphone has been confirmed after its features and specifications were leaked online.
It was reported that the Oppo A3s is another budget mobile phone, a toned-down version of the A3. Although it is a low-end gadget, it has a few interesting features that users will surely like, such as Music Party, AI Beauty 2.0, and facial unlock, XDA Developers reported.
According to another report, which claims to have exclusive scoop, the upcoming phone will feature a 6.2-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD display of 720 x 1520 pixels and a nice battery that offers 4,230mAh of life. The leaked details did not specify the operating system but it was assumed that the said smartphone is having the latest Android 8.1 Oreo.
The storage capacity or RAM was not mentioned in the report but the device will reportedly be fitted with a microSD slot for memory expansion. It will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset processor, with the combined power of Adreno 506 for GPU for fast connectivity, a brilliant display, and efficient overall performance.
The list further revealed that the Oppo A3s will feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP one on the front for clearer selfie shots. For connectivity options, the unit is said to be equipped with a micro USB port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
In terms of the specifications, this budget phone has a lot of similarities with the A5, another Oppo phone that is coming out. They have the same storage capacity and long battery life. Most probably, the A3s is coming to the market shortly after the A5 is released.
Finally, the Oppo A3s only weighs 168 grams and measures 156.2 × 75.6 × 8.2mm. It is expected to arrive in China stores first and buyers will have the option to choose between purple and red for color.
