Fans will have to do a little bit of waiting again as finally the airing schedule for the hit TV series ‘Outlander’ was announced and it is slated to air this April. With a lot of waiting going on for the fans and everyone, it is understandable that there will be a lot of speculations and theories that are made so to feed your hungry minds, here are some juicy spoilers about the series.
The network itself declared and affirmed that Sophie Skelton was the chosen one to assume the character of Brianna for season 2. It was also noted by the Hollywood Reporter that Sophie Skelton would be joining the cast as the grown-up daughter of the lead stars namely, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Catriona Balfe). Brianna will be a strong spirited redhead whose character would also imply her innate traits that she got from her parents. She is said to be intelligent beyond her age.
Another person who we will have to welcome on the show is Richard Rankin. He will play the adult version of Roger Wakefield. He is said to have important connection to Brianna so we shall find out what that connection might be.
Meanwhile, one of the main characters Sam Heughan expressed his interest on having Jennifer Lawrence on the show and work with the talented actress. Heughan even stated, "Maybe Jennifer Lawrence would be quite nice, that would be kind of fun," Heughan said. Moreover, it was not just Heughan that candidly shared his thoughts because even his co-star Caitriona Balfe disclosed her thoughts as well.
Season 2 of "Outlander" is slated to air sometime in April, with Jamie and Claire moving to Paris and Versailles.
