Overstock, an online retail giant, has released a new survey report that provides insight into the buying behavior of its bitcoin user base. According to the report, bed sheets have become the favorite item to purchase, followed by donations to non-profits, headphones, cases and holders and area rugs.
Moreover, coffee tables, cables and tools, mattresses, sunglasses and A/V cables were seen in the top 10 categories.
"The only thing that makes that list interesting is the fact that it's so unremarkable. I guess bitcoiners are regular people", Overstock director of communications Judd Bagley told CoinDesk while addressing the findinds.
Overstock's data shows that bitcoin has been successful in attracting regular spending from its customer base, a trend it first discussed in August last year.
