DENVER, March 27, 2017 -- Pax8, the leading value-added cloud distributor, today announced it has streamlined operations by adding new processes and organizational enhancements. Additionally, the company has hired John Walters in the newly formed position of vice president of Service Operations. In this role, Walters will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s service delivery and technical support. He will report to Klaus Dimmler, chief operating officer at Pax8. This announcement was made in conjunction with MSPWorld Conference taking place this week in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“We are focused on providing the organizational expertise, services, and technology to help our partners excel and drive growth,” said Ryan Walsh, senior vice president of Partner Solutions. “The addition of John and the new processes we have put into place will help us further enable our partners to gain new leads, add monthly recurring revenue, and ensure they are getting the highest level of support. As the technology market continues to move closer to a cloud-first focus, we are committed to remaining agile so that we can effectively meet the needs of our partner community. Through these new enhancements, we are in the best position to provide the enablement and strategic support for our channel of service providers.”
Walters brings more than 20 years of experience managing technical, multi-tiered support teams in the IT and telecommunications industries. He has extensive experience providing service delivery for large multinational companies. Prior to joining Pax8, Walters was a senior director for Wipro, a leading global IT, consulting, and business process services company. In his role, he managed several teams of IT professionals globally who were responsible for providing data center transition and IT support services within the public sector. At Level 3 Communications, he was responsible for VoIP deployment across North American and Europe, managing service delivery and operations support. Throughout his career, Walters held various management positions supporting global teams for AT&T, Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya.
Pax8’s new organizational enhancements include the implementation of a company-wide project management tool, enabling departments to interact systematically. The new project management tool is helping to streamline projects and processes; therefore, freeing up resources to better help partners profitably grow their businesses.
Additionally, Pax8 has formed a new entry-level position within the marketing organization, called a Cadet, dedicated to partner recruitment. The newly formed position will enable the company’s Cloud Solutions Advisors within the sales organization to completely focus their efforts on helping the company’s partners transact, identify new growth opportunities, and increase their monthly recurring revenue.
