PepsiCo has added the Fiery Prawn Cocktail and Hot Sauce Blaze flavors to its non-HFSS (High in Fat, Salt, and Sugar) Walkers Max Strong range, containing lower levels of fat and salt.
According to Jonathan Roberts, senior brand manager at Walkers Max, snacking remains a huge part of day-to-day UK life, and the new strong flavors, with lower levels of fat and salt, will greatly appeal to this younger generation by delivering maximum flavor.
Roberts added that with consumers looking for healthier snack options, they’re determined to ensure non-HFSS options don’t mean less flavor.
Walkers Max’s new flavors are available exclusively in Tesco and will roll out nationally to wider grocery and convenience channels from 1 August.
