LIVERMORE, Calif., Nov. 14, 2017 -- Performant Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:PFMT) ("Performant" or "the Company"), a leader in the identification and recovery of improper payments in the Healthcare, Government and Student Loan industries, today announced that it was awarded the California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) Post Payment Audit and Recovery service contract.
CCHCS ensures access to medical care, for over 130,000 inmates & juveniles processed through 35 facilities throughout the State of California. Under the direction of CCHCS, Performant will deploy its proprietary analytic technology and leverage its vast audit and recovery resources to identify and recover improperly billed healthcare claims.
