The NBA’s Phoenix Suns have extended their jersey patch agreement with online payments firm PayPal through the 2026 NBA season under an enhanced multi-year deal.
The current agreement, due to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season, was reportedly worth US$3 million a year.
The PayPal patch will continue to be “displayed on home and away Phoenix Suns jerseys.”
PayPal will continue“to be the Phoenix Suns’ Official Payments Partner and be integrated across all payment channels, including single game tickets, season tickets, merchandise, and concerts. PayPal and Venmo branding will be prominently displayed throughout Footprint Center and during telecasts and on social platforms.
PayPal and the Suns will now increase their focus on supporting small businesses throughout the Valley and elevating the fan experience by offering innovative payment solutions at the arena and online.
According to Phoenix Suns Governor Mat Ishbia, the deal delivers focus on winning, fan experience, and community impact that the Suns are aspiring for.
