The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages as the official in-arena beverage provider at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex and PPG Paints Arena. Fans can now enjoy a wide variety of Coca-Cola products during games and events.
Pittsburgh Penguins Partner with Coca-Cola to Offer Exclusive Beverages at PPG Paints Arena
At the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex and PPG Paints Arena, the Pittsburgh Penguins have designated ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, the local bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola in the region, as the official in-arena beverage provider.
According to NHL, Coca-Cola's effervescent beverages, including Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Seagram, will be exclusively available at PPG Paints Arena. Other popular drinks will also be available, including Minute Maid Lemonade, Gold Peak, and Fanta Orange.
“The Penguins are thrilled to enter into a new partnership with Coca-Cola and offer our fans and guests of PPG Paints Arena a wide variety of Coke beverages,” said Penguins President of Business Operations Kevin Acklin. “The addition of Coca-Cola products strongly complements our wide array of food and beverage offerings while enhancing our goal to provide the best overall fan experience in sports.”
Coca-Cola Branding and Activations to Enhance Fan Experience at PPG Paints Arena
As part of the multi-year partnership, the 200s-level concourse will be renamed and conspicuously display Coca-Cola branding at over 100 live events each year at PPG Paints Arena. Additionally, in-game activations will be themed around Coca-Cola, retail promotions, fan giveaways, a shared commitment to sustainability, and numerous impactful community initiatives.

"Additionally, we are excited to build a collaborative relationship, enhance community initiatives, and create elevated and exciting programming for the arena and fans in Pittsburgh."
Coca-Cola and the Pittsburgh Penguins will collaborate on sustainability objectives and investments, including those that align with the Coca-Cola system's vision of a "World Without Waste." As part of its global strategy, Coca-Cola strives to achieve the following goals: recycling 100% of its packaging portfolio by 2025, collecting and recycling one bottle or can for every one sold by 2030, and incorporating at least 50% recycled material into its packaging by 2030.
Throughout the forthcoming season, additional promotions and community programs will be revealed.
