The British royal family is getting so much media attention lately, and right in the middle of all the drama is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The former Hollywood actress has been the subject of unforgiving rumors about her personality and how she is involved in alleged feuds with other members of the royal family such as Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Prince Harry has been supportive of his wife to the point that he officially filed a lawsuit against several British tabloids this month, hoping that it would discourage the media frenzy around Meghan. However, the legal move does not seem to alleviate any tension as sources claim the Sussex royals are now considering moving much farther away from their family and relocate to North America.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, considers living in Canada in the future?
A source of Us Weekly reports that Prince Harry and Meghan are now considering to move to Canada. But the insider’s statements sound like there are no immediate plans for them to ditch their official residence, the Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor.
The same source added that Prince Harry and his wife are considering Canada as one of the options where they could “relocate” in the future with their son, Archie. While Canada is way out of Europe, the country is part of the Commonwealth of Nations, where Queen Elizabeth II is the monarch.
Shortly after their wedding in 2018, Prince Harry and Markle ignited feud rumors with other members of the royal family. They have since established their own charity organization, now called Sussex Royal. That meant splitting from the Royal Foundation where Prince Harry and Prince William since 2009 and Kate Middleton since 2011. It also did not help to debunk the speculations when Prince Harry and Meghan decided to move out of the Kensington Palace and to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor Castle in late 2018.
Prince Harry defends Meghan Markle amid heavy media attention, sues British tabloids
Friends and supporters of Meghan have been calling out the press for the relentless rumors and stories published that purportedly tarnish her name. Prince Harry had enough of it and issued an unsparing statement on Oct. 1 to criticize British tabloids and defend Meghan.
“Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences,” Prince Harry wrote. “Though we have continued to put on a brave face ... I cannot begin to describe how painful it has been.” A few days since the statement was released, BBC confirmed that Prince Harry filed a lawsuit against the News Group Newspapers, the publisher of The Sun.
