SPOKANE, Wash., Jan. 25, 2016 -- RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) (NYSE:RLH) today announced the Company signed 33 franchise license agreements and five management contracts in 2015, achieving a new record of 38 agreements executed within 12 months.
“The velocity at which RLHC is expanding is inspiring and directly attributable to our well-connected development team combined with the success of our guest management system, RevPak,” said RLHC President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Mount. “Our franchise development team, now fully deployed, consists of seasoned franchise development leaders who are based in five distinct regions across the country. We are well on our way to 100 hotels in 100 weeks.”
Mr. Mount continued, “We look forward to building on accomplishments from 2015, as our development team continues to demonstrate the advantages of franchising with RLHC, including double digit RevPAR growth for each of the first three quarters of the prior year. We offer an extensive value proposition for owners including our advanced booking technologies and digital marketing programs, which generated an increase of 41 percent in year-over-year contribution during the third quarter.”
The Company added franchise locations from coast to coast including several key markets including: Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Washington state, Texas and Utah. Furthermore, of the 38 agreements signed by the Company in 2015, 29 were new to the system and nine were contract renewals to existing portfolio hotels.
