Aside from the next adventures happening in “Rick and Morty” season 4, fans are highly curious about the guest stars as well. Reports have recently suggested that Ice-T and Kanye West could be some of the artists with cameo roles next season.
Fans are still in the dark when it comes to the highlights of “Rick and Morty” season 4. But there are speculations that West and Ice-T are some of the most likely surprises in the next installment.
Both hip-hop artists are familiar to the Adult Swim series. In Ice-T’s case, co-creator Dan Harmon voiced and wrote a character obviously named after the “Law & Order: SVU” star. Fans may recall the character Ice-T in one of the most popular episodes of the franchise, titled “Get Schwifty.” So having him as one of the potential guest stars in “Rick and Morty” season 4 is not a surprise.
Earlier this year, Harmon also gushed over Ice-T, telling GQ, “It would be a fantasy come true to have him come and do Ice-T or Water-T or any other character.” Harmon wants this to happen so much that he said Ice-T can voice “any other character” in “Rick and Morty” season 4.
On the other hand, Kanye West is a vocal fan of the show. He was one of the many people who celebrated when “Rick and Morty” season 4 was confirmed last May.

Following his declared love for the show, Harmon and fellow creator Justin Roiland sent a special birthday message for West last June. It was hard to miss as West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, was also evidently delighted about receiving the gift. This has since started speculations on the rapper’s possible stint in “Rick and Morty” season 4.

Like other successful animated series, “Rick and Morty” is known for having had a star-studded list of guest actors in the past three seasons. Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Patton Oswalt, Stephen Colbert, Christian Slater, and many more have joined the show before to voice mostly alien creatures and, rarely, themselves.
Meanwhile, other than a confirmed “Rick and Morty” season 4, nothing much is known at the moment. Harmon and Roiland confirmed having at least 70 episodes ready but it is unlikely to include all of it in just one season.
Adult Swim is also still mum about the air date for “Rick and Morty” season 4. But, luckily, Harmon confirmed in various social media posts that production has already started. And, if Mr. Poopybutthole’s post-credit appearances are any clue, “Rick and Morty” season 4 might be released in late 2019.
