“Rick and Morty” season 4 finally had an update coming from Adult Swim. It may be a simple detail but it got the viewers excited because the show is actually long overdue already.
Plus, any update about the show simply means that it is coming soon and this is why the fans are always on the lookout for any announcement on social media. In any case, “Rick and Morty” season 4 is confirmed to return despite the previous beliefs that it was canceled due to its long hiatus.
Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland finally speak up
The creators of “Rick and Morty” season 4 finally speak up after being silent for a long time. Probably, they were still not sure if they can release the next installment so they chose no to give an update but in July, they grant an interview and this only means that the fourth season is definitely coming.
The pair shared many things but of course, they refrain from giving too many spoilers. In the interview with Entertainment Weekly, Harmon and Roiland shared that a number of A-list stars are making an appearance in the much-awaited “Rick and Morty” season 4 and they dropped their names too.
They mentioned Paul Giamatti, Sam Neill, Kathleen Turner, Liam Cunningham, Ser Davos Seawoth, Paul Giamatti and Taika. Harmon and Roiland also addressed the rumors that Kanye West will also be in “Rick and Morty” season 4. They said that they like the idea, however, both parties still need to talk more about it thus, he could be in the program but not yet at this time.
Who is Glootie - A new villain?
Meanwhile, in the teaser of “Rick and Morty” season 4 that was released at the San Diego Comic-Con, Morty was shown dealing with a new character that was identified as Glootie, an alien. In the video, it seems that Glootie tricked Morty and he was asking the alien to delete an app that apparently is making Rick’s grandson uncomfortable. Glootie’s exact role is not yet clear but Express suggests, he will be one of the villains or the antagonists.
“Rick and Morty” season 4 is coming this November.
