Aeroflot carried 229,000 passengers in April, down 95.2 percent compared to last year due to dwindling demand and flight restrictions caused by the pandemic.
For the first four months of 2020, the airline's number of passengers also suffered a 34.7 dip year-on-year to 11.4 million.
The Aeroflot Group, including low-cost carrier Pobeda, plans to boost the number of flights across Russia in June gradually.
Russia's air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, disallowed most regular and charter international flights since March 23.
Aeroflot, Russia's biggest carrier, has been busy transporting overseas Russian citizens back home.
