Samsung has produced some of the most revolutionary products in the past, but the Samsung Galaxy A80 has got to be one of its crowning achievements. Not only is the phone completely notchless, it even features a pop-up camera that automatically swivels and provides high MP density. This could become a trendsetter if the company plays its cards right.
As The Verge reports, the Samsung Galaxy A80 is the first of its kind in that it combines automatic popup and camera swivel. What really makes this particular arrangement special is the matter of being able to use the rear camera as a selfie camera, as well. This would then give users access to the 48MP lenses that provide ultrawide features and an excellent sensor.
One of the biggest benefits to the design is the fact that it has no notch, as well, which is something that manufacturers have been trying to do something about for years. Samsung has managed to shrink the size of the notch by a lot for its higher-end products. However, they are still quite noticeable and could be an eyesore from time to time. On that note, the Samsung Galaxy A80 will also come with a smaller screen coverage.
As for the other features of the Samsung Galaxy A80, its battery will be decent at 3,700mAh. The RAM is quite impressive at 8GB and it will also come with 128GB of storage space. It will even have a fingerprint scanner, so those who are looking for midrange smartphone options won’t be left out.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 is set to launch on May 29 and though the price has yet to be announced, the device will be a midrange unit. This means that it will likely hover around the $350 to $450 mark. Considering the features, the costs would certainly be reasonable.
