Fans of Samsung are asking why the corporation is being silent about the impending Samsung Galaxy S24 series, despite the fact that leaks regarding it are clearly "true." According to the most recent sources, the leaker has openly provided his knowledge of the new handsets, which are planned to launch in January 2024.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Leak Has Been Removed
The year 2023 is coming to a conclusion, but rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S24 aren't. According to the most recent reports, the next smartphone lineup will be unveiled in mid-January 2024. According to the newest news from the UK-based publication Express, the popular Samsung Galaxy S24 leak has already been erased on Twitter, which is now X.
Evan Blass, a reliable tech industry tipper, provided the information. To understand what the post would look like, imagine it includes a countdown timer going up to January 18, 2024. He said that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on the specified date at 3 a.m. Korean time.
For those in the United States who are looking forward to this Samsung event, the date is January 17, 2024. Since then, the South Korean tech behemoth has taken matters into its own hands by deleting what Blass had put on X. The erased tweet said that the "media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner."
At this stage, Samsung does not want to spoil the Galaxy S24 series for fans. The most recent Unpacked event took place in August in Korea, when fans witnessed the official debut of the Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.
Additionally, the countdown timer includes the "Galaxy AI is coming" language, which could imply that the Galaxy S24 devices will include AI functions. However, nothing is known about them at this time.
It's still unclear where Blass obtained the information on the Samsung Galaxy S24. However, it's fascinating to note that the smartphone manufacturer intervened immediately, ensuring that only a few people saw the post.
What to Look For in Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
The S24 Ultra, as the next Samsung flagship, is expected to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 3 chipset. The Exynos chips, on the other hand, will make a comeback for both the normal S24 and S24+ variants, according to Tom’s Guide.
Furthermore, the paper states that there will be some architectural similarities between S24 and S23. The most noticeable change is that it has a flat display rather than a curved display. It's also worth noting that the 2024 Galaxy smartphone series will feature improved camera technology. We could see an enhanced main lens that outperforms the S23's 200MP.
Unfortunately, while it appears to be intriguing at first glance, speculations say that it will not include 10x optical zoom. Instead, it will only have a 5x magnification.
