With the slew of leaks over the last few months, tech fans are already aware of the devices Samsung has yet to launch this year. The only question is when the company would hold its next Galaxy Unpacked to announce them, but a new leak claims to have the exact time and date for the event.
Next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked date may have been leaked
Leaker FrontTron, who has had previous accurate reports, recently shared what appears to be an invitation for the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked. The event is said to be taking place on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
There is no venue listed in the supposed invite, suggesting that Samsung is not planning to have in-person attendance. The leak also says the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will happen “live” via the company’s official website.

Texts in the image are using the same font as other official Samsung announcements, but fans should still take this with a grain of salt. Prominent leaker Evan Blass noted that Samsung does not usually include hashtags in the official invite. FrontTron’s tip appears to correspond with previous information from Max Weinbach, who hinted last month that the launch event for several Samsung devices would be “announced” on Aug. 3.
Meanwhile, The Korea Times reported on Sunday that a “company official” would not confirm yet if the Aug. 11 date is accurate. The same official said, “Samsung will issue an invitation and reveal the exact date.”
Announcements to expect in the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
The interest surrounding the next Galaxy Unpacked is understandable since the devices Samsung has yet to announce are piling up. Based on the latest leak, the event should highlight the launch of the foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Renders of both devices have recently emerged online as well, and they suggest Samsung is applying several design tweaks.

Tech fans may have also gotten their first look at the Galaxy Watch 4 series, which is also expected to go through some changes. Per the reports, Samsung might be ditching the “Active” branding. The standard Galaxy Watch 4 is rumored to have a sporty design, while the model with a rotating bezel could be called the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
