Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to feature a durable titanium frame and offer both Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon variants, with Europe likely to receive the Exynos model, insiders reveal.
New Leak Confirms Galaxy Z Flip 6 to Feature Dual SoC Options, Matching Galaxy S24 Series
In a new tweet, he shared some information he received from Yeux1122, who shared it on Naver, per Android Headlines. Revegnus reported earlier this month that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be available with an Exynos processor. It appears that Naver has just confirmed this.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to come in Exynos and Snapdragon variants. It follows the same path as the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. According to the tipster, Europe will get the Exynos model like the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.
According to Naver, the base model of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, bringing it up to the level of the Galaxy S24. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 SoC variants are also expected.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 Leaks: From AOD Feature to Exynos vs Snapdragon Debate
Samsung will also include the Galaxy S24's AOD (Always On Display) feature. This is essentially everything new that has leaked about the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Even if this information is correct, take it with a grain of salt. Using titanium could reduce the weight of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 unless Samsung changes the size or does something similar.
According to a source, the Exynos 2400 is technically inferior to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, it is a significant improvement over its predecessors. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to launch in the first half of July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Ring.
According to a recent report, some Galaxy Z Flip 6 models may feature an Exynos SoC instead of a Snapdragon one. In other words, Samsung may use the Exynos 2400 in some variants instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 May Surprise Europe with Exynos 2400, Despite Snapdragon Tradition
This information comes from Revegnus, a tipster. He doesn't appear to be wholly convinced it will happen, though. He said he would "be surprised even if the Exynos is included in this year's Flip 6".
So, it is not set in stone. Samsung tends to stick with Snapdragon processors in its Fold and Flip models. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Flip 5 are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy processor.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC, but if this rumor is true, units in Europe may end up with the Exynos 2400.
