CLEARWATER, Fla., Aug. 10, 2017 -- On Tuesday the 8th of August, the Scientology Volunteer Minister (VMs) of Florida held their latest weekly seminar, entitled, “How to be Stable in Life” at their headquarters in downtown Clearwater. Since the opening of their downtown Clearwater office in July of 2015, the VMs have had over 20,000 visitors who have viewed the audio visual displays and exhibits and attended the weekly seminars in their center. The seminars are based on the 19 chapters of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Handbook written by Scientology Founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
According to the Executive Director of the Center, Glendy Goodsell, one mother who has been attending several seminars for a few months was finally able to re-establish communication with her son. Mother and son had not spoken for years because of his decision to choose a lifestyle the mother disagreed with. After doing a course on communication, the mother got back in touch with her son. She said, “After doing this course, I felt that I was able to communicate with my son again. I no longer get upset or angry when speaking with him. I no longer feel afraid to reach out and communicate with him.”
The Executive Director for the Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Florida, Ms. Glendy Goodsell said, “The VMs are dedicated to helping others, no matter where, no matter who, on disaster sites as well as with everyday ‘disasters’ in life.”
