“Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 is coming back after a long wait. The anime series is a big hit, and fans are anticipating these upcoming new chapter that was reported to consist of 40 episodes.
Renewal of the series
Herald Publicist reported that “Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 was renewed and officially confirmed after it was announced through chapter 310 of the manga edition. It was said that the fourth season will have the title “The Seven Lethal Sins: Wrath of the Gods.”
However, it was rumored that this is likely the penultimate chapter as it will be ending in the fifth installment. Based on the report, the remaining chapters in the manga have all been covered already by the time the fifth season is reached, so it is concluding.
What to expect in the upcoming season
“Seven Deadly Sins” season 4, written by Nakaba Suzuki, may feature the arc about the Camelot, its dominions, and the Zeldris. In the previous season, King Arthur has gone missing, and it was suggested that he could be in hiding behind the Camelot.
The upcoming season will also reveal the relationship existing between Melodias and Elizabeth. The former will protect the latter from any harm, but he may be defeated at some point and yield to his own demons.
“Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 will also narrate whether they can revive peace in Princess Elizabeth’s land, which they have been longing for years. Then again, she believes that they will succeed, and peace and harmony will reign once again.
The official synopsis of “Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 reads: “The story picks up 10 years after a group of Holy Knights staged a coup against the King of Liones, which led to Princess Elizabeth embarking on a mission to seek out the very knights, The Seven Deadly Sins, who had been on the run for the past 1000 years.” Additionally, “With their help, Elizabeth believes she can restore peace and prosperity back to her kingdom.”
Release date
“Seven Deadly Sins” season 4 has no official release date yet, and there is no word from Netflix either. However, based on predictions, it may arrive sometime between July or August 2020, as per What’s on Netflix.
