Shytoshi Kusama, the driving force behind Shiba Inu, is urging Ethereum cofounder Vitalik Buterin to meet for a ten-minute discussion on SHIB's ambitious plans, including a $2 billion innovation hub. Kusama seeks to align SHIB's growth with Ethereum's roadmap.
Shytoshi Kusama Seeks Meeting with Vitalik Buterin to Expand SHIB Ecosystem
It would appear that the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem's creator, the anonymous Shytoshi Kusama, is hell-bent on expanding it. Kusama re-contacted Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, six days following his first request. The creator of SHIB is trying to get a meeting with Buterin.
Following Buterin's letter pointing the Ethereum ecosystem to a "thread" detailing his future plans, Kusama recently responded to the message on X. The creator of SHIB viewed it as a chance to bring up Buterin's prior meeting request.
Kusama posted:
"Wen (When) 10 minutes discussion?"
SHIB Aims to Leverage Ethereum's Influence
As background, Shiba Inu is the biggest Ethereum-based meme coin. After Buterin spoke highly of Dogecoin—another meme coin—Kusama plans to approach the Ethereum founders with a pitch for SHIB, U.Today explains. Shortly after receiving Buterin's communication, Kusama asked to meet briefly. The co-founder of Ethereum has not yet commented.
The developer's will to set up a meeting to talk about his plans for Shiba Inu is on full display in Kusama's X reminder letter. In particular, he hopes to shed light on the technological trajectory, expand the community, and develop the governance model of SHIB's projects. Shiba Inu and the Ethereum network may be able to find common ground during this meeting.
Ambitious Proposal for a $2 Billion Blockchain Hub
At the same time, the anonymous SHIB engineer has lately made a daring suggestion about blockchain technology. An Innovation and Blockchain Strategic Hub (S.H.I.B.) is to be set up. Over the course of five to ten years, the estimated cost to implement the concept ranges from $1.3 billion to $2.35 billion.
It is unclear how much of a risk Shytoshi Kusama is ready to take in order to get his plans for SHIB off the ground and achieve his strategic aims. Still, SHIB's mysterious chief developer is keen on meeting with Vitalik Buterin to go over the company's expansion plans.
