Seattle, WA, Jan. 12, 2018 -- CFN Media Group ("CannabisFN"), the leading creative agency and media network dedicated to legal cannabis, announces publication of an article covering the cryptocurrency market and SinglePoint Inc.’s (OTC:SING) recent partnership with former ‘Shark’ Kevin Harrington.
The cryptocurrency market may have exploded onto the public eye over the past few months, but SinglePoint Inc. (OTC: SING) has been focused on the market since 2014. With an initial focus on the cannabis industry, the company hopes to leverage blockchain technologies to redefine how many traditional industries operate. These ambitions have been recently fueled through a new partnership with former ‘Shark’ Kevin Harrington.
SinglePoint’s Bitcoin Focus
By taking a consumer first approach, the company hopes to overcome the traditional issues of making payments at a dispensary using cryptocurrencies. SinglePoint plans to invest heavily in getting consumers to sign-up for a wallet to make sure that they can effortlessly go into a dispensary and make a purchase. The approach also enables the companies to build loyalty programs, special offers, and offer tracking functionality. The goal is to create a user experience that’s similar to Starbucks’ mobile payment system that enables users to preload a card.
New National TV Campaign
SinglePoint recently announced a long-term global collaboration with Kevin Harrington, an original member of ABC’s Shark Tank TV program. Under the terms of the deal, Mr. Harrington will work hand-in-hand with the company’s cryptocurrency division as well as become a spokesman for its nationwide television campaign that’s scheduled for production on January 19 and will likely air on networks major media news networks.
“Kevin’s legendary work producing the launch of more than 500 products is just one of the many reasons we are thrilled about this partnership,” said SinglePoint President Wil Ralston in a recent press release announcing the deal. “Impressively, 20 of Kevin’s companies have each topped $100 million in revenue. We look forward to partnering with such a visionary individual and discovering what this means for the future of SinglePoint.”
The partnership will also include the collaborative work on the company’s bitcoin payment platform and will focus on integrating Procurrency, a national ecommerce and rewards cryptocurrency platform. Management aims to further expand its presence in the cannabis industry by helping serve a key role, while simultaneously exploring new cryptocurrency ambitions that involve traditional industries.
Looking Ahead
SinglePoint Inc. (OTC: SING) represents a unique investment opportunity that touches both the burgeoning cannabis and cryptocurrency industries. With a new partnership with Kevin Harrington, the company is well positioned to catapult its products into the national scene through a nationwide television campaign beginning later this month. Investors may want to take a closer look at the stock given these near-term catalysts.
