Indulge in Japan’s Seasonal Delight: The Limited-Edition Hatsuyuki Frappuccino

The Hatsuyuki Frappuccino, crafted to resemble freshly fallen snow, marks the early arrival of Starbucks' holiday season lineup.

Set to debut in November, this limited-edition drink, also known as the Macadamia White Snow Chocolate Frappuccino, captures the excitement of the first snowfall. The Hatsuyuki Frappuccino delivers a rich, festive experience from the first sip, featuring creamy white chocolate and macadamia nut-flavored sauce. To enhance its snowy aesthetic, the beverage is topped with whipped cream, sprinkled with pale blue and white candy pieces, and finished with silver sugar. White chocolate fudge chunks add a layer of sweetness and texture, all available in a tall size for 687 yen (US$4.50) to-go or 700 yen for dine-in.

For those who prefer a warmer option, the Macadamia White Snow Mocha offers a similar flavor profile to espresso, creating a balance between nutty richness and coffee's depth. This drink is available hot or iced in sizes Short to Venti, priced between 550-690 yen.

Both drinks will be available on the Starbucks menu from November 1 to November 21. However, early access to the Hatsuyuki Frappuccino is available at a special pop-up event, the "Starbucks Coffee Hatsuyuki Store," running from October 31 to November 3 at the Tokyu Plaza Harajuku's Harakado complex in Tokyo. The pop-up features an enlarged version of the Hatsuyuki Frappuccino's signature whipped topping, offering visitors a whimsical photo opportunity and exclusive stickers.

This seasonal launch brings Starbucks' holiday flavors to eager fans. It provides a wintery escape, ensuring the festive season begins with a touch of snowy sweetness just as Halloween wraps up on October 31.
