Starbucks released several holiday drinks in the fourth quarter of 2021, and most of them have been favorites. And as another year has arrived, the coffee chain giant is bringing back another well-loved beverage and it is also suitable today as the season has already changed once again.
Starbucks announces the return of Pistachio Latte beverage and it will be out this week at participating cafe outlets across the United States. Since this is considered as one of the brand’s seasonal offerings, it will only be available for a limited time.
As USA TODAY reported, Starbucks told them that the holiday drinks, as well as the pumpkin range drinks, will already be removed from the menu list as the winter food and drink options arrive. Some other beverages to look forward to aside from the Pistachio Latte are the Nitro Cold Bews, Juniper Latte, Cascara Latte, and Smoked Butterscotch Latte.
The Pistachio Latte was first launched last year around this same time. It was sold at Starbucks Reserve Roasteries at various outlets nationwide. The favorite drink is made with steamed milk, espresso, and a special sauce made with real pistachios. To complete the drink, a salted, rich brown butter topping is added and it can be purchased either hot or cold.
“Back for its second year, the Pistachio Latte features cozy flavors of sweet pistachio and rich brown butter paired with espresso and steamed milk, specially crafted to keep coffee lovers comforted in the new year,” Starbucks stated in a blog post. “The Pistachio Latte can be ordered hot or iced at U.S. stores for a limited time, while supplies last.”
Aside from the Pistachio Latte, Starbucks is also bringing back its “Meatless Mondays” where customers can order vegan food options. Under this promotion, fans can order the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich for the whole month of January. This can be paired with the Starbucks Tribute Blend drinks that were first introduced in 2011.
The Starbucks Meatless Mondays will run until Jan. 31 and every Monday starting Jan. 3, everyone can enjoy a $2 discount for every purchase of the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich. This is also available through Uber Eats, Starbucks app, in-store, and delivery.
