“Station 19” Season 2 is shaping up to have more character development and internal conflict within the ranks of the proficient firefighters. One character who is getting a lot of interest from the American action-drama's fans is Captain Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe), Carter Matt reported.
In “Station 19” Season 2, Sullivan will need to develop a strong bond with his team in order to carry out dangerous rescue attempts whenever a life-threatening event breaks out. However, this may be easier said than done as the crew seems to be having a hard time adjusting to the procedure that the captain is implementing.
Indeed, the trailer for “Station 19” Season 2 Episode 3 features this internal conflict as Sullivan is seen having a sort of tense exchange with the crew. What’s more, it seems that Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) is going to be put in a tight spot in this upcoming episode as the team clamors to get her out of a situation that is shown to be rather precarious.
As for Sullivan himself, fans still don’t know much about the character since Kodjoe has just been recently promoted as a series regular for “Station 19” Season 2. It goes without saying that Sullivan will have ample opportunity to show layers of his personality during the run of this installment. And so far, the guy is giving off a strict-but-fair vibe, judging by the previous episodes that have already been released.
It will also be interesting to see a sort of mentor-apprentice arc for Sullivan and the rest of the crew in “Station 19” Season 2. Although the group is considered to be among the best at what they do, they still need to learn much about firefighting, rescue, and the roles of an EMT during a dangerous incident. And Sullivan’s experience just might be what is needed to elevate the team to new heights.
Aside from Sullivan, another thing that fans are excited to see is more crossover episode between “Station 19” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” The two series have already featured this crossover but it would be another welcome sight if the firefighters run into the staff of Grey Sloan. Whatever the case, “Station 19” Season 2 is shaping up to be quite the series for ABC, with the third episode of this installment slated to air on Oct. 18.
