GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., March 21, 2017 -- Steelcase announced today Todd Kelsey, president and chief executive officer of Plexus Corp., is joining the company’s Board of Directors. Kelsey’s expertise in technology-driven business initiatives and experience guiding key strategies and policies for the creation of long-term shareholder value make him an exceptional addition to the group.
“Todd Kelsey has experience driving innovation and establishing a culture of continual improvement across a global enterprise. His track record at Plexus is strong and the knowledge he brings to our board is invaluable,” said Robert C. Pew III, chair of the Steelcase Inc. Board of Directors.
Plexus is a $2.7B corporation that provides design and development, manufacturing and aftermarket services to four key market sectors: healthcare/life sciences, defense/security/aerospace, industrial/commercial and communications. Kelsey has been with the company since 1994, taking on roles in engineering, strategy, finance, customer service and operations. He was named president and CEO in September 2016.
Kelsey currently serves on the Plexus Corp. Board of Directors and was previously a member of the Dean’s Advisory Industrial Advisory Board at the University of Wisconsin – Madison College of Engineering. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, as well as a M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
